      Because, it take high clarity and quality diamonds to make colorless white diamonds, where as rough used in making black diamonds are often filled with impurities and mostly inferior quality as compared to Colorless diamonds. black diamond rough mostly cost 1/3 to 1/5 of the that of natural colorless diamonds.
